We had a great time Saturday going to the Kite Festival over at Longview Community college! Relaxing in the sun, taking some pictures and just flying some kites! I would highly recommend it! It's amazing that kites can be so massive! Flying squids, fish, alligators, giant windsocks, parrots, trilobites, and more!

You know how it goes. Go to the thrift store, find a great shirt in your size - only it needs cufflinks! So you go home and make a set out of some old parts you bought off eBay! Then you have some tech savvy, stylish cufflinks made from iPhone home buttons!

Had a great time tonight taking pictures and listening to a guy that I work with's band. This was by far the most difficult lighting situation I've been in. Very low light, light that was all over in color temperature, and no flash during the performance! Gave me a great chance to really test the upper limits of my A99's ISO! Had a great time listening to some great music!

I've been wanting to get a new site up for a while, but I never seem to be able to find the time! So thanks to Mike Curtis for prodding me until I got on here! I'm loving the new look and that I didn't have to spend the time writing all the code to do everything that square space does(commerce, analytics, etc.).
I'll probably pull over some past posts from the old site, and we'll have some new exciting stuff coming up in the next few weeks!
